My name is Mike Schnall, I am a Software Engineer and former database manager, sales rep, and combat soldier.
In the past few years I was pursuing a degree in Economics while working full time for a luxury travel company.
While at the company, I created a database that reduced manual data-entry and automated reports.
The process was so fulfilling that I decided to pursue software engineering full time.

I graduated App Academy, an immersive 16 week tech-bootcamp for full stack web development. During the program I was spending 80-100 hours per week programming and learning new languages every few days. While in the program, I created two solo projects and one group project that were built using technologies including: JavaScript, React, Redux, HTML, CSS, Sass, Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, Node.js, Express.js, SQL, and many more.
The program molded me into a confident software engineer.
